Day by Day
Arrival & Tarangire National Park
Arrive at Arusha Airport and transfer to Tarangire National Park. Enter the park for a game drive — famous for massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and tree-climbing pythons. Spot lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and buffalo near the Tarangire River, plus waterbucks, impalas, and countless bird species in the swamps and woodlands. Drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Arusha
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater — a 600-meter-deep volcanic caldera and the best place to see the Big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the endangered black rhino) in one morning. See hippos in the pools, flamingos on Lake Magadi, and spotted hyenas. Continue game-viewing before ascending and driving back to Arusha for drop-off — end of safari service.
