Day by Day
Arrival – Arusha
Clear customs and meet your safari guide, with a safari orientation en route to Mateves Boutique Hotel on the slopes of Mount Meru.
Tarangire National Park
Full-day game drive among colossal baobabs and massive elephant herds (sometimes 200+ in view), tree-climbing pythons, and over 550 bird species. Overnight at Baghayo Garden Suites in Karatu.
Central Serengeti
Cross Naabi Hill Gate into the Serengeti, with an afternoon game drive through the Seronera Valley — resident lion prides, leopards draped over sausage trees, and troops of olive baboons. First of 3 nights at Into Wild Africa Luxury Tented Camp.
Balloon Safari + Full Game Drive
A 4:30am wake-up for your sunrise hot air balloon safari — floating silently over herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle, followed by a champagne landing and gourmet bush breakfast with fine china. A full-day game drive around the Seronera kopjes follows, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and hunting cheetahs.
Full Day Exploring Central Serengeti
Morning game drive toward the Moru or Simba Kopjes for resident lion prides, then an evening drive as elephants march to waterholes and giraffes silhouette against the sunset, with sundowner drinks at a scenic viewpoint.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Depart with a packed breakfast, arriving at the crater rim for entry, then a 4+ hour crater floor game drive — the black rhino in Lerai Forest, buffalo and zebra herds, and flamingos at Lake Magadi. Picnic lunch near the Hippo Pool.
Departure Day
A relaxed breakfast before the drive back to Arusha and on to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your departure flight.
