Full-day game drives (morning and afternoon) searching for lion, cheetah, leopard, and elephant; July–October offers the best chance of the Great Migration. Optional hot air balloon safari (extra cost). Overnight at the same camp/lodge.
Cross the border (typically at Isebania) into Tanzania and continue to the Serengeti, with an afternoon game drive en route into the park. Overnight at a mid-range tented camp in the central or western Serengeti.
A full-day game drive in the Serengeti — among the best places in Africa for lions and leopards. Overnight at the same camp.
Morning departure from the Serengeti toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, with an optional en-route visit to Olduvai Gorge (extra fee). Overnight at a mid-range lodge on the crater rim or in the Karatu area.
An early-morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 5–6 hour game drive — high wildlife density and one of the best places to see black rhino. Ascend in the afternoon and drive to the Tarangire area. Overnight at a mid-range lodge in the Tarangire/Karatu area.
A morning game drive in Tarangire, famous for giant baobabs and large elephant herds, then an afternoon drive to Arusha and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for departure — or an Arusha hotel if staying overnight.
This route crosses from Kenya into Tanzania by land, with the vehicle and guide handover arranged for you.
Descending into Ngorongoro early (around 6:00–6:30 AM) improves wildlife viewing and avoids crowds, and makes the 3–4 hour afternoon transfer to Tarangire comfortable.
Peak migration season pricing and availability differ — book 3–6 months ahead for July–October.
